CPB Canvasser    |    $20/hr (Contractor; part time; temporary)

The Community Power Builders team is now seeking Canvassers to assist the CPB Organizers with engaging residents within our communities to inform them about upcoming elections, candidates, and encourage voter participation. Active work periods: March 11 - April 5 |  June 3 - June 28  |  July 15 - August 16 |   October 14 - November 8; up to 24 hours per week. From 11 am - 7 pm each day.

2024 Books & Breakfast Coordinator    |    $25/hr (Contractor; part time; temporary)

Books and Breakfast is a summer program for Black and Southeast Asian elementary aged youth. Young people enjoy a healthy breakfast and mind lifting books. They also enhance literacy, learning, and life skills as they emerge as young liberatory leaders in our communities. We are looking for a motivated Coordinator to plan and conduct program activities for this youth program.

Development Assistant    |   $24.04/hr

Freedom, Inc. (FI) seeks to hire an entry-level Development Assistant to join our organization and help grow our Development Capacity. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fundraising, highly organized, have excellent time management, an interest in storytelling and eagerness to develop relationships with donors, funders and community partners. This is a remote-possible position, with the requirement to attend 4-6 in-person events, trainings and retreats in Madison, WI every year. Gender Justice Coordinator   |   $24.04/hr

The Gender Justice Coordinator’s job is to oversee the implementation of services geared towards serving the Black and Southeast Asian communities which we as an organization represent. The central objective is to work closely with community advocates and community leaders in order to execute action steps to eradicate violence against Black and Southeast womyn, LGBTQ, and young folks. The Gender Justice Coordinator is responsible for working with and representing these populations as they navigate the systemic challenges presented to their communities.
